It’s worth the money. Especially if you have a group/family. They take care of you and the facilities are family friendly. Everything is clean and well kept. Make sure you book the kayak option- it was so fun! We stayed in the chalet which was perfect for families/groups.
Adventist Alpine Village, a caravan park that truly stands out. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the welcoming atmosphere and well-maintained grounds. The spacious caravan sites offer ample room for both small and large rigs, ensuring a comfortable stay for all types of travelers.
The park's location is a true highlight, surrounded by the stunning beauty of the alpine landscape. The mountain views and fresh air provide a backdrop that's hard to beat. The variety of amenities, from clean shower facilities to convenient laundry rooms, make for a hassle-free and enjoyable experience.
What truly makes this caravan park shine is the sense of community. Fellow campers and the friendly staff create a warm and inviting ambiance. The communal spaces, such as BBQ areas and shared lounges, encourage social interactions, making it easy to connect with others.
The Adventist Alpine Village's attention to detail and commitment to providing a comfortable and welcoming environment make it a top choice for caravan enthusiasts. If you're seeking a serene getaway in a picturesque setting, backed by great facilities and a friendly community spirit, look no further. This caravan park is a true hidden treasure deserving of a five-star rating.
Huge area with lots of lovely old gumtrees, not many of them were shading the sites though. Pretty far walk to the amenities, although they were very clean and warm! 6 minute shower timers and very small cubicles. The Caravans were really squished in on top of each other with lots of longer term residents. Secure boom gate, dog friendly, staff were very good but reception is unmanned on the weekends. Lots of activities like tennis courts, mountain bike trail, frisbee golf etc. Nice and quiet and only a short drive out of town.
Met some lovely people here and enjoyed a quiet night’s rest. My phone didn’t have much signal and there’s no indoor kitchen area if you are camping so be aware it could be an uncomfortable experience unless you are properly prepared. The lodge is a beautiful meeting place with very comfortable sofas and a big cosy fireplace to gather around.
Great place to start your ski adventure. Rooms were immaculate and having kangaroos, horses and chickens and even a wombat for the kids to look at makes a big difference with boredom for them. No drinking on site so peaceful evenings and just a peaceful stay.
Heated rooms, comfortable beds and we'll maintained, large drying room for winter gear. Large well set up kitchen with space for several families to be cooking communally.
It’s a big caravan park with many spots. The bathroom was clean and warm with nice hot shower. We stayed in powered site for two nights. There were horses kept besides the park, many birds coming in the morning and kangaroos jumping around.
Be careful with the kangaroo poo in the grass tho. Could easily step on it…
Great place to stay if you're on a budget. The shared kitchen is a good place to have a family dinner together.
